An example of how I’ve tried to make many little objects make the shape of a larger figure. The big blue bomb-thing could be a nose and so on..

Växjö has a history of neo-nazis & skinheads and the baldheaded character with a blindfold & pigs nose could be a reminder of this, note he’s got a big ear to grab real hard.

The laughing character is a paraphrase and tribute to the late & great Roger Risberg. taken form his painting ‘tandläkarskräck’. His time ran out a bit too early…

On the top you can find the name of my son, ‘Ilja’

The figure just under the moon (lower right hand corner) is inspired from a drawing a little girl from the area made of herself reading a book. the golden feather is for a man I met in the area who really liked peacocks.

Detail of shapes that make a bike. Most people seems to be riding bikes in Växjö also most of the children I spoke to mentioned riding bikes as their favourite activity so I just had to put one in.
